The pricing below is in effect for the 2011 - 2012 Season (April 1, 2011 - March 30, 2012). Please call us at (802) 370-2103 or email us at info@montgomeryadventures.com for pricing beyond the current season.

Please note that new Vermont regulations require a 6% tax to be collected on all outdoor adventures. The prices below do not include this tax - a 6% tax will be added to your bill at time of service.




Specialty Tours

Between April 3 and October 31, 2011, Montgomery Adventures is proud to offer a variety of tours which highlight the many wonderful aspects of Vermont. All tours have a 4 person minimum and an 8 person maximum. Tours are from 9 am to 4 pm. Pricing ranges from $50 - $75 per adult depending on the tour, and children under 12 are FREE. Lunch can be provided for $10 per person through Montgomery Pizza. Lunch includes a grinder, chips, soda, a bottle of water, and a chocolate bar. Below are the tours we will be offering this season:

Photography Tour – Enjoy this guided hiking tour to beautiful waterfalls, covered bridges, areas with views, and the best spots to photograph wildlife. Amateurs receive tips from a skilled wildlife photographer.

Made in Vermont Tour - This fabulous tour of Vermont-made products starts at the Franklin County Cheese Plant where we learn how cream cheese is made. Our second stop is a Goat Dairy, where we will see the goats and all the wonderful products made from their milk. Karen Scheffler's Custom designed Stained Glass and Vermont Rocker by Dale Davidson Handmade Wood Furniture are two studios that feature the amazing craftsmanship of Vermont artisans. Our final destination is Godfrey's Sugarhouse, where we can see where pure Vermont Maple Syrup is made.

Fiber Fun Educational Tour - Learn about the many animals that give their fur to keep us warm as we visit a variety of llama, alpaca, and sheep farms in northern Vermont. We will finish the tour at the Mountain Fiber Folk cooperative in Montgomery Center where they will show how they take the wool and various fibers and turn them into yarn and amazing fiber creations.





Canoe and Kayaking

Between July 4 and Labor Day, our canoe and kayak tours are offered Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Before July 4 and after Labor Day during kayaking season, they are available 7 days a week.

Full day at Green River Resevoir or Missisquoi Wildlife Refuge with 2 kayaks. For 2 people - $299.99
Full day at Green River Resevoir or Missisiquoi Wildlife Refuge with 4 kayaks. For 4 people - $399.99
• Add a packed lunch of grinders, chips and drinks for $10 per person
• Add a water’s edge BBQ (featuring BBQ Chicken) at Green River Resevoir for $25 per person

Family Reunion – Between July 4 and Labor Day, our Family Reunion Tours are offered Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Before July 4 and after Labor Day during kayaking season, Family Reunion Tours are available 7 days a week. Enjoy kayaking and canoeing at the Green River Resevoir for up to 10 people including a BBQ meal - $699.99

Boat Rentals - daily rates for canoe and kayak rentals are as follows:
• $30 a day for Kayak
• $35 a day for Canoe
• $40 a day for the Tandam Kayak

These rental rates do not include transport fees and assume the renter will pick up the kayaks/canoes from Montgomery Adventures. If you need kayaks and canoes transported, please call to inquire about an additional transport fee.




Bass Fishing - $99 per person, min 2 people, max of 6, includes license, transportation, use of gear.


Hiking
Firetower Hike - the Firetower Hike is an overnight trip for the strong and sturdy. $150 per person includes food
Intermediate Hike - $80 per person for a 4 hour hike on the Long Trail. Lunch can be provided for $10 pp
Tender Foot Hike - this is a low grade 2 hour hike into the hidden water falls. $50 per person


Dog Cart Rides - Dog Cart rides are a two person adventure, and you are taken through the colorful woods around our home.
$125.00 per Adult
$150.00 for an Adult with one child under 65Lbs.
$175.00 for an Adult and one child up to 100 lbs.
Any person over 100lbs is considered an adult.




Dogsledding

Classic Rides
Dogsled rides up to 4 people at a time, with 2 dog sled teams.
We use a musher's training sled which enables our guests to try mushing with the comfort of an experienced musher behind them.
$125.00 per Adult
$150.00 for an Adult with one child under 65 Lbs.
$175.00 for an Adult and one child between 65 and 100 lbs.
Any person over 100 lbs is considered an adult.


Overnight Dogsled Trips
• No more than 2 people at a time
• Dog Sled in, set up camp, and bed down the dogs, then enjoy dinner in a heated Alaskan canvas tent
• Winter tents and sleeping bags supplied by Montgomery Adventures. Pricing includes food, and if applicable, fishing license.
• If interested in a 2 night stay and one full day out, Ice fishing for Northern Pike, Snowshoeing, or additional Dogsledding can be provided.

      Monday-Thursday, One night: $400.00 per person; Two nights: $600 per person
      Friday-Sunday, One night: $500 per person; Two Nights $750.00 per person


Moonlight Starlight rides
Adults only. Rides are after 4 pm. $150.00 per person

Kids Rides
Given at Kennel: $25.00 for a half an hour




Snowshoeing
Snow Shoe Rentals: $15.00 per day
Guided Snowshoe Tours: $25.00 dollars an hour plus rental of snowshoes


Survival Courses
Basic Winter Survival Courses: $99.00 per person includes a full day of wildnerness survival training (8 am- 4 pm). Learn how to make a lean-to, a fire in the snow with no matches, how to make signals, and other basic survival skills.


Child’s Winter Birthday - $299.99 for up to 10 children, $30 each additional child. 4 hours of winter fun activities include dogsledding, snowshoeing, sliding, a bonfire with s’mores or wienies for roasting. For groups of 5 or fewer, pricing is $35 per child.
